Advanced Disposal begins service to Orange Park

Advanced Disposal Services Inc. begins garbage, yard waste and recycling service to the Town of Orange Park beginning on Friday.  As part of the new contract, each household now has 32 gallons of recycling space for weekly collection.

Residents’ garbage will be collected Mondays and Thursdays while recycling and yard waste will be collected every Wednesday. Every resident should have received information detailing the new collection guidelines as well as their additional recycling bin. Anyone with a question regarding service should call Advanced Disposal at 904-695-0500. Residents should place all recyclable materials in the bins provided by the Town of Orange Park. All rigid containers should be placed in the orange or blue recycling bin including aluminum cans and foil, steel cans, number 1-7 plastics and clear, green and brown glass containers. Fiber materials should be placed in the green recycling bin including newspaper, cardboard, magazines, phone books, Kraft bags, box board, fiberboard, junk mail, office paper and miscellaneous paper.
