Ameris Bank symbolizes its expansion in Northeast Florida by becoming a part of the city’s skyline with its name atop the high-rise building Riverplace Tower on the Southbank of downtown Jacksonville.
Sign installation began the week of Jan.18 and is expected to be completed by the week of February 8. The bank’s name will appear on the north and south facades of the tower with two sets of internally illuminated main identity channel letters.
In addition to having its name on the 28-story landmark building, Ameris Bank is moving its executive team, along with key division leaders, into the entire 26th floor of the building.
“Having the Ameris Bank name on a signature downtown Jacksonville building signifies our commitment to the area and our increasing presence in the greater Northeast Florida market,” said Ameris Bank President & COO Andy Cheney. “As a partner to the community we serve, we are pleased to be accelerating our growth in the area to better serve our customers and provide greater access to the banking services we offer.”
Ameris Bank will also open a branch in the lower lobby of Riverplace Tower, further expanding the bank’s existing footprint in the area.
