Bistro AIX: Introducing Executive Chef Christopher Cohen

Forking Amazing Restaurants, LLC. is pleased to announce the appointment of Christopher Cohen as executive chef of Bistro AIX.

Originally from Boston, Chef Christopher Cohen brings over twenty years of culinary experience to Bistro AIX. Cohen moved to the Jacksonville area in 2013, where he served as executive chef for two years at bb’srestaurant. Cohen has previously worked at Ela’s Blu Water Grille (Hilton Head, SC), The Olde Pink House (Savannah, GA), and Beacon Hill Hotel & Bistro (Boston, MA).

Cohen’s first menu at Bistro AIX emphasizes classic French bistro fare – such as Coq Au Vin, Canapés, Chateaubriand, to name a few – and was released this month.

Operating in San Marco for the past 16 years, Bistro AIX opened in 1999 and has recently hired Stephen Serokee as general manager. Chef Ian Lynch serves as the executive chef for Forking Amazing Restaurants, LLC and oversees all daily culinary activities for Ovinté, Bistro AIX and IL DESCO. Matthew Mannick serves as director of Restaurant Operations for Forking Amazing Restaurants, LLC and oversees all restaurant operations for Ovinté, Bistro AIX and IL DESCO.
