The Jax Ale Trail is a Big Hit with Visitors

June 4 marks six months since Visit Jacksonville kicked off the highly successful Jax Ale Trail and its Craft Beer Passport showcasing Jacksonville’s thriving craft beer industry to visitors from all over the nation and world. In the past six months, the trail has generated great publicity for Jacksonville as Florida’s premier craft beer destination with more than fourteen thousand passports distributed at the eight local breweries along the trail and over 400 completed and turned in by visitors from 25 different states and five different countries.

Here are some of the highlights from the past six months:

  • 416 completed Jax Ale Trail Craft Beer Passports mailed to Visit Jacksonville
  • 323 (78%) were from Florida, 93 (22%) from out of state
  • 281 (68%) from Duval County and surrounding areas, 135 (32%) from visitors from other areas including:

o   25 States: AL, CA, FL, GA, HI, IA, IL, IN, LA, MA, MD, ME, MI, MN, NC, ND, NJ, NV, NY, OH, PA, SC, TX, UT, VA

o   5 Countries: USA, Canada, France, Brazil, Scotland

The Jax Ale Trail is a self-guided tour of Jacksonville’s eight local craft breweries and beer attractions including Intuition Ale Brewery, Bold City Brewery, Aardwolf Brewing Company, Green Room Brewing, Engine 15 Brewing Co., Pinglehead Brewing Company, Veterans United Craft Brewery and Zeta Brewing Company.
