The JAX Chamber Foundation launched a dynamic, new website that will raise awareness of its wide-ranging initiatives. The new site, www.JAXChamberFoundation.org, reflects the breadth and depth of its mission and increases access to its valuable programs.
Founded in 1978 and serving all of Northeast Florida, the Foundation funds community leadership, workforce development and entrepreneurial education programs in support of long-term regional prosperity. Its initiatives include the Jacksonville Women’s Business Center and its programs, such as Marketing Matters and Financial Matter$ for women business owners; the Small Business Center’s micro-enterprise certification program, including Achieve Your Business Dream workshops; the Earn Up workforce development program to increase the region’s college attainment; Global Cities Initiative to boost exporting; JAX Bridges; Leadership Matters; and more.
The website will not only raise awareness of the rich diversity of programs the Foundation supports, but also presents participation, volunteer and partnership opportunities.
“The new Foundation website is an invaluable tool for the community. It’s where community development and economic development intersect,” said Sandy Bartow, JAX Chamber Foundation president. “The new site provides easy access to educational, volunteer and funding opportunities. It’s a fantastic resource, and makes it possible to get valuable information about the Foundation at any time.”
The Foundation chose BroadBased Communications to design the website. “Working with Jan Hirabayashi and her team was a great experience,” said Bartow, who is also vice president of the Entrepreneurial Growth Division for the JAX Chamber. “Their insights on the creation of our website, driven by hard questions and thoughtful consideration of sharing our story, was engaging and resulted in a site we are thrilled to launch.”
