One Spark Launches Smartphone App for 2015 Festival

Updated app streamlines process for attendees to contribute and vote

One Spark, The World’s Largest Crowdfunding Festival, today launched its updated smartphone app for iOS and Android operating systems. The One Spark app is available for download in Android’s Play Store and Apple’s App Store. Attendees that attended One Spark last year can download the updated version. The new version of the app incorporates survey feedback from attendees, creators and volunteers over the past two years to achieve an improved app experience. Developers streamlined the process for attendees to be able to download the app, create an account and easily contribute to and vote for creator projects. App updates also include simplified navigation and inclusion of the One Spark festival map and full schedule.

“Not only has our team of developers done a complete front-end redesign and complete back-end restructure of the One Spark platform, they have also taken feedback from all the One Spark stakeholders and improved the app experience by streamlining contributing to and voting for One Spark creator projects, the core of our festival,” said Elton Rivas, One Spark co-founder and CEO. “We worked hard as a team to make the improvements for a simple, straightforward and easy-to-use app that will complement the in-person experience with creators.”

Anyone in the world can visit to contribute to One Spark creator projects’ rewards-based crowdfunding campaigns. Only One Spark attendees that check-in at the festival via the app or at a Voting & Information Kiosk will be able to vote for creator projects.
