Welch’s wife Suzy Welch, business journalist and former editor of the Harvard Business Review, will also join the hour-long discussion with Jack Welch where they will take questions directly from the audience. Jack Welch will replace Daymond John as headlining speaker, due to a personal conflict that arose for John. Other prominent speakers for this year’s One Spark Speaker Summit presented by Community First Credit Union include Jeff Hoffman, founder of Priceline.com and Tamara Mendelsohn, vice president of marketing, Eventbrite, among 11 total speakers.

A local philanthropist has donated 105 One Spark Speaker Summit tickets to University of North Florida students so they can hear from and be inspired by world-class entrepreneurs and innovators. Following the Speaker Summit presented by Community First Credit Union on April 7, the One Spark Opening Ceremony in Hemming Park at 6 p.m. will feature Echosmith, named by Rolling Stone as one of “10 New Artists You Need to Know,” and a special performance by DJ LIL BOY. The One Spark Opening Ceremony is free to attend and open to all.
