JAXBIZ, the political affiliate of the JAX Chamber, today announced its endorsement of Anna Brosche for the Jacksonville City Council At-Large Group 1 seat. JAXBIZ is a nonprofit, nonpartisan political organization with the goal of promoting business-friendly leadership at the local and state government levels. JAXBIZ members research and endorse candidates for public office based on issues that affect business and economic development.

As one of the largest business advocacy organizations in the entire state of Florida, they understand as I do that we need to continue to support policies that will grow our economy, create jobs, develop our workforce and keep taxation and regulations low. Brosche, managing shareholder at Ennis Pellum & Associates, CPAs, holds graduate and undergraduate degrees in accounting from the University of North Florida. She has a strong record of leadership and community involvement in Jacksonville where she is the current chair of the United Way of Northeast Florida Board of Directors and is a board member of the JAX Chamber Foundation, the Ritz Chamber Music Society, and the University of North Florida Foundation. Brosche previously served as a board member of the JAX Chamber and as Advisory Board Chair for the Jacksonville Women’s Business Center. She lives on Jacksonville’s Westside with her husband David and two children ages 14 and 8. She is a Jacksonville native, the daughter of a Filipino who joined the Navy and eventually gained U.S. citizenship. Her husband is serving in the military as a Lieutenant Commander in the U.S. Navy Reserve and recently returned home after being deployed to Djibouti, an African nation near Somalia. Brosche has been endorsed by JAXBIZ, the First Coast Chapter of the Associated Builders and Contractors and the North Florida Central Labor Council and affiliates.
