Rethreaded, a local nonprofit who believes every individual can experience self-worth and value to communally change the world we live in, will be holding their Annual Grace Holiday Sale at the newly designed Rethreaded Retail Space. Make this Holiday meaningful by giving gifts that change lives. Rethreaded will be open on Saturday, November 15th, 2014 from 10am to 4pm, located at 820 Barnett Street Jacksonville Florida 32209.
Rethreaded invites the Jacksonville community to “Shop for Freedom”. We will have some of your favorite merchandise on Sale. Rethreaded’s featured up-cycle products, The Grace Scarf, Freedom Bands and Threads for Hope will be on display, along with all other merchandise sold by Rethreaded. When one of these items are purchased, you help break the cycle of the sex trade and offer healing to the women affected by it. Shoppers will also have the opportunity to donate hours of freedom in honor of a friend or family member. We will display all donations made on our “Freedom Wall” located in Rethreaded’s Retail Space.
In 2013, Rethreaded received the top award given at One Spark, which was voted on by the people of Jacksonville. This award and our participation in One Spark opened a whole new level of visibility and support for the organization on a local level. Rethreaded’s Founder and President says, “ By donating an Hour of Freedom, you’re ensuring a women has a second chance to sew a new story”, said Kristin Keen.
The faith-based nonprofit Rethreaded loves people affected by the sex trade by fostering relationship and life-giving community. Our vision is to unravel the effects of the sex trade by fighting business with business on a global and local level. For additional information about rethreaded, please visit rethreaded.com.
