Local social Entrepreneurship Rethreaded unveils their newly designed retail space

rethreaded_launch_poster_FB2Rethreaded, a local nonprofit who believes every individual can experience self-worth and value to communally change the world we live in, will be hosting the Grand Opening of their Retail Space on Saturday, September 13th 2014 10am to 5pm, located at 820 Barnett Street Jacksonville Florida 32209.

Rethreaded invites the Jacksonville community to “Shop for Freedom”. We will debut all new Rethreaded products, which includes our signature Headbands, Pillows, and Threads for Hope. Rethreaded’s featured up-cycle product, The Grace Scarf, along with all other merchandise sold by Rethreaded, will also be on display for shoppers to browse and purchase. When one of these items are purchased, you help break the cycle of the sex trade and offer healing to the women affected by it.

Join us for the unveiling of our new retail/warehouse space, and a look into the future of Rethreaded. There will be Live Entertainment, Free Food and Tours of the newly designed warehouse for all who attend this Spectacular Event. “Our goal is to give women a way out of the sex trade and to prevent girls from ever entering it by providing viable work, said Kristin Keen, Executive Director of Rethreaded. “With the support of our local community, we hope this Retail Space will provide many women and children with freedom.”

In 2013, Rethreaded received the top award given at One Spark, which was voted on by the people of Jacksonville. This award and our participation in One Spark opened a whole new level of visibility and support for the organization on a local level.
