6th Annual First Coast Worksite Wellness Conference and Healthiest Companies Award Luncheon

fcwwcThe First Coast Worksite Wellness Council (FCWWC) along with Humana present “The Art of Wellness”, the largest annual Wellness Conference in Jacksonville. We’ll also celebrate more than 40 companies honored for their commitment to employee health and wellness as well as the Frank Barker Wellness Leader during the Healthiest Companies Awards Luncheon.

The 6th Annual First Coast Worksite Wellness Conference and Healthiest Awards Luncheon is May 14, 2013 at the Hyatt Regency Jacksonville Riverfront, 225 East Coastline Drive, Jacksonville, FL 32202. Registration begins at 8am. The conference runs from 830am-3pm. The event is an excellent opportunity to network with wellness leaders, CEOs, business owners, HR specialists, and physicians. Additionally, Certified Health Education Specialists (CHES) will earn at least four (4) continuing education credits.

Wellness is an integral component of the North Florida Business community. Attendees will learn about evidence-based programs that increase employee engagement, productivity and overall employee well-being. The conference is an excellent learning environment for any size company looking to start or expand their wellness initiatives.

The FCWWC will honor CEOs and their Wellness Leaders with coveted Bronze, Silver, Gold and Platinum Healthiest Companies Awards. The FCWWC will also recognize the top Wellness Leader candidates and the winner of the 2014 Frank Barker Wellness Leader Award, who will receive a $10,000 prize.

Keynote Speaker Brad Nieder, MD, CSP, also known as The Healthy Humorist, is a funny doctor and clean comedian who blends healthcare humor with wellness advice and an uplifting message. Audiences love his “Laughter is the Best Medicine” program, finding it entertaining, inspiring and informative. Nieder explains how laughter really is good medicine for managing pain, enhancing immune system function, reducing stress and more.

The General Session Speaker is David Chenoweth, PhD, CWHP, president of the North Carolina based international health data econometrics firm, Chenoweth & Associates. His expertise relates to worksite health econometrics and data analysis including risk factor cost appraisal, on-site clinic ROI, program and facility break-even analysis, benefit-cost analysis and employee health and productivity costing.

Multiple sponsors and exhibitors will share cutting-edge wellness resources. The Conference will also include five (5) breakout workshops presented by local and national experts:

The First Coast Worksite Wellness Council is a non-profit organization. Its mission is to improve the health of the First Coast Community by sharing evidence-based resources and providing guidance through our member businesses.

Tickets to the 6th Annual First Coast Worksite Wellness Conference and Healthiest Companies Award Luncheon are $85 for FCWWC members ($95 after April 30, 2014), $110 for non-members ($120 after April 30, 2014) or $600 for FCWWC member table of eight (8). Prices include full conference, luncheon and parking.
