Anna Brosche raises over $60,000 in first two months of City Council Campaign

Campaign is Well on the Way to Achieving its Goal of Raising $100,000 in the First Half of the Year

anna brosche campaignAnna Brosche, candidate for Jacksonville City Council At-Large Group 1, has raised a total of $61,650 in donations since announcing her candidacy. Brosche received over sixty-three unique contributions from individuals and businesses for a monetary total of $22,025 for February. Brosche has raised the most money of any candidate running for the Jacksonville City Council in the 2015 Jacksonville General Unitary election cycle when not including those candidates who have loaned themselves money for their respective campaigns.

“As the campaign enters the third month, I continue to be overwhelmed by the support that we have received throughout North Florida,” said Brosche. “I am excited about the strength and depth of the support the campaign has received and I look forward to more success in the coming weeks as we continue to communicate our positive message for our great city of Jacksonville. I look forward to working on issues that will promote job creation, fix our long-term budget, protect our quality of life, utilize our natural assets, and ensure that we have the best trained workforce in Florida.”

Brosche, managing shareholder at Ennis Pellum & Associates, CPAs, holds graduate and undergraduate degrees in accounting from the University of North Florida. She has a strong record of leadership and community involvement in Jacksonville where she is the current chair of the United Way of Northeast Florida Board of Directors and is a board member of the JAX Chamber Foundation, the Ritz Chamber Music Society, and the University of North Florida Foundation. Brosche previously served as a board member of the JAX Chamber and as Advisory Board Chair for the Jacksonville Women’s Business Center. She lives on the Westside of Jacksonville with her husband David and two children ages 13 and 7. She is a Jacksonville native, the daughter of a Filipino who joined the Navy and eventually gained U.S. citizenship. Her husband is serving in the military as a Lieutenant Commander in the U.S. Navy Reserve and is currently deployed to Djibouti, an African nation near Somalia.
