Visit Jacksonville Selects Toni Chadwell as Event Specialist

Toni Chadwell 007Toni Alison Chadwell has joined Visit Jacksonville as event specialist.

Chadwell is responsible for planning and executing major annual events, client familiarization events and other monthly educational sessions, and assisting with the partnership development department at Visit Jacksonville. She reports to Katie Kurycki, director of marketing and product development.

In addition, Chadwell will provide oversight and management for the North Florida Hotel & Lodging Association.

Chadwell previously served as the director of rental operations for the Florida Theatre, which she joined in 2005, where she cultivated relationships with local partners, generated new business, and managed up to 150 events annually with promoters, corporations, nonprofits, schools, churches, hospitals, and civic groups.

Prior to her tenure at the Florida Theatre, Chadwell spent six years as the assistant vice president for the marketing and client strategy team for Harris, the third-largest financial institution in Chicago, where she managed and developed branding campaigns, integrated promotions, special events, and philanthropic endeavors.

A dedicated patron and advocate for the arts, Chadwell has balanced career demands while working within the entertainment industry. She has held various positions from house manager to tube talker, including five years with Blue Man Group, a Grammy award-winning theatrical production.

Chadwell received a bachelor’s degree in English and Communications from Florida State University.

Her philanthropic endeavors include advocacy efforts for medically fragile/special needs children. She serves on the advisory board of the Community Nutcracker Organization and chairs the annual holiday party for the Tom Coughlin Jay Fund.
