Jon Gordon to speak at Beaver Street Enterprise Center’s 10th Anniversary Awards Luncheon

10th anniversary logoOn October 24, 2013, best-selling author Jon Gordon will be keynote speaker at Beaver Street Enterprise Center’s 10th Anniversary Awards Luncheon.  Helping the business incubator celebrate a decade as “The Blueprint for Business Success,” Gordon will bring his enthusiasm, expertise and positive energy to familiar turf.  “Jon inspired us at our first anniversary luncheon in 2004, and he has graciously agreed to return for this momentous occasion,” said Beaver   Street’s Executive Director, Jackie Perry.  “We’re thrilled he will be here to help us celebrate our achievements and launch us into the next exciting decade of success!”

Jon-G-DSC_4610-sm150As a world renowned author and leadership expert Gordon has written nine books including the megahit The Energy Bus, The No Complaining Rule, Training Camp, The Shark and the Goldfish, Soup, The Seed, and The Positive Dog.  He has appeared on The Today Show, CNN, Fox and Friends and as a keynote speaker for numerous Fortune 500 companies, hospitals, NFL, NBA and college teams, school districts, non-profits and more.  Jon, a resident of Ponte Vedra Beach, is a graduate of Cornell University and holds a Masters in Teaching from Emory University.  “When I’m not running through airports or speaking to business leaders, hospitals and schools, I enjoy playing tennis and lacrosse with my wife and our two teenagers,” said Jon.  “Positive leadership is what I’m all about and it’s invigorating speak to organizations like Beaver Street Enterprise Center, where the entrepreneurial spirit is strong and the audience is so eager to change the world!”
