PuroClean Emergency Services of Jacksonville expanding to the largest location in the nation!

PuroClean Emergency ServicesHaving earned the nickname “Paramedics of Property Damage” from their peers in the restoration industry as well as their grateful customers, the team at PuroClean Emergency Services of Jacksonville is headed up by Wayne Terry, a Navy veteran and a dedicated American Red Cross contributor and emergency responder.

During the first quarter of 2013, Wayne Terry has taken his company to a new level of excellence by purchasing a 16,000 square foot building at 4737 Dellwood Avenue, Jacksonville, Florida 32205.  The state of the art warehouse and office space is the largest PuroClean building in the country.   The public is invited to celebrate the grand opening of the business scheduled for 4 p.m. on September 19, 2013.  There will be refreshments, games, and door prizes, as well as a formal Jacksonville Chamber of Commerce ribbon cutting ceremony at 5 p.m.

In 2007, when Terry bought his PuroClean franchise, he had only $17.82 left in the bank, a good credit rating, a healthy heart and faith in his ability to achieve his goals. Beginning as one man with one van and growing to a staff of 26, with six service vehicles, Wayne Terry built his franchise quickly. He was named the 2010 Franchisee of the Year and, in 2012, earned the ranking of 5th out of 340 PuroClean Franchises across the nation. Terry is holding steady at 3rd for 2013.

Wayne Terry attributes his phenomenal success with the PuroClean franchise to several factors:  “The key to our success is our dedication to being fast, friendly, honest and reliable,” says Terry.  “Every time we serve a customer, we make sure we thrive in those four areas.  It is essential that our customers are 100 percent satisfied.  Have a great relationship with a great franchisor also helps cement our success and I’m glad to say that our relationship has strengthened over the years.”

Having flourished as a result of trusted relationships with his franchisor, his team, his customers and his community, Wayne Terry holds memberships in the Greater Jacksonville Chamber of Commerce, WCR, NEFARPM, NFH&LA, FCAA, and JCA, and contributes $10 per job to the American Red Cross (a total of $2340 since  July of 2012).  PuroClean Emergency Services of Jacksonville is also a contributor to the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, Relay for Life, American Cancer Society for Fleming Island, Jacksonville Fire Fighters, Knights of Columbus, Catholic Charities, Clay County Humane Society, and co-sponsors a local softball team with Ron McCann and Todd Vann Insurance Agencies.

A veteran of the military who hires veterans whenever possible, Wayne Terry is the largest contributor in the area to a group called Wounded Wear Southeast.  Founded four years ago by a Navy Seal, Wounded Wear is a national program with its main store in Virginia, providing modified clothing for wounded soldiers, including purple heart kits and duffel bags containing gear for purple heart recipients.  Tyler and Ashley Southern of Jacksonville head up Wounded Wear Southeast.  “Tyler got hurt in Afghanistan three years ago, and when he retired from the Marine Corps, he took on the role of running Wounded Wear Southeast,” said Ashley Southern, adding that Wayne Terry’s generous sponsorship has made it possible for them to raise much-needed funding for the program.

“It is a privilege to help Tyler and Ashley honor wounded vets through Wounded Wear Southeast,” said Terry.  “We look forward to doing even more for worthy organizations in the community once we’ve moved into our new, larger location.  As the ‘Paramedics of Property Damage,’ our new location will allow us to serve an even larger clientele and we will make every effort every time to be an unexpected bonus for customers who have suffered loss.”
