42 Companies Honored for Their Wellness Programs

The First Coast Worksite Wellness Council (FCWWC) along with Humana are proud to announce the 2013 winners of the Healthiest Companies Awards. These companies were honored for their commitment to employee health and wellness at the largest annual Wellness Conference in Jacksonville, the 5th Annual First Coast Worksite Wellness Conference and Healthiest Awards Luncheon, May 15, 2013.

The FCWWC honors CEOs and their Wellness Leaders with coveted Bronze, Silver, and Gold Healthiest Companies Awards. This is the first year that a select few companies achieved Platinum wellness status.

The FCWWC is also pleased to recognize the winner of the 2013 Frank Barker Wellness Leader Award who will also receive $10,000. Sharon Clark has been with BI-LO Winn-Dixie since 2010 as the on-site Well-being Manager. Her position is unique in that it is provided as a part of the health benefits plan, a partnership with Blue Cross Blue Shield which provides the on-site wellness presence to supplement the other wellness benefits.

The First Coast Worksite Wellness Council is a non-profit organization. Its mission is to improve the health of the First Coast Community by sharing evidence-based resources and providing guidance through our member businesses.
