The Jacksonville District Office is seeking participants for its Emerging Leaders Program-Class of 2013

 

What is Emerging Leaders?

The Emerging Leaders is an intensive training initiative to accelerate high-potential small businesses’ growth in America’s inner-cities. This comprehensive curriculum provides the tools to catapult participating companies to the next level and help them emerge as growing, self-sustaining businesses in their community.

Developed by the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA), Emerging Leaders offers qualified business owners a powerful collection of benefits to accelerate growth, understand and explore financing options, diversify markets and expand networking. The training is supported by a coalition of local economic champions and mentored by business advisors with invaluable insight and expertise.

Participant Requirements:

The Emerging Leaders advanced training series is open to:

• Small business owners and executives that have at least one employee besides the owner

• With annual revenues of at least $300,000

• Who have been in business for at least 3 years, and

• Located in Jacksonville

Participants will walk away with a strategic growth plan, new contacts and a network of resources. This training is not available for start-ups; it’s geared toward growing businesses that are ready to Step It Up!

There will be fifteen small businesses accepted for this program. This program is provided at no cost to the participants.
