COOLEAF makes it to Intel Innovation Award

Cooleaf, a technology startup focused on platforms for fitness engagement is one of the top 4 finalists for the Intel Innovation Award. iStart Jax ( is proud to announce that Cooleaf was one of the top ideas pitched during the Jacksonville Startup Weekend 2012. The Startup Team behind Cooleaf continued to work hard beyond the Startup Weekend. John Duisberg, who co-founded the company with Prem Bhatia, also participated in the Health 2.0 conference that was held in San Francisco October this year.

According to The Wall Street Journal article published on November 8th 2012, four finalists have been named for the Intel Innovation Award, as a part of the 2012 Health IT Leadership Summit ( that will take place on December 4, 2012. This is the second year for the award, which recognizes companies developing leading-edge technology and unique approaches to improving health, as well as healthcare delivery and processes.
