Taylor Care Center and Brooks Rehabilitation Align for Enhanced Patient Care

Taylor Care Center and Brooks Rehabilitation have formed an alliance to optimize the quality of care and therapy provided to the patient populations they serve. Taylor Care Center and Brooks will share certain clinical education, resources, and best practices of specialized therapy programs, resulting in further training and expertise of therapy and nursing staff.  This additional knowledge will enhance the quality of care that both organizations offer to their patients.

The alliance will also serve to enhance transitions in care for patients requiring rehabilitation and skilled nursing services.   As a highly rated skilled nursing facility by the Agency for Health Care Administration with expertise in the aging process, Taylor Care Center offers an option in the continuum of care that many medically complex or elderly patients may need.

“Brooks has expertise not only in traditional therapy, but also has extremely specialized knowledge in stroke, brain injury, speech, and vestibular rehabilitation programs.  We are excited about the opportunity to share best practices and enhance the level of therapy and care for both of our residents and patients”, said John W. Barber, Jr. CEO of Taylor Residences.
