The Omni Amelia Island Plantation continues to enhance its leadership team with new associates joining the destination oceanfront resort. Among the new hires at the destination resort in Northeast Florida are Director of Food and Beverage Christopher Walling; Director of Revenue Management Jason Kralh; Associate Director of Catering & Conference Services Beth Place; and Front Office Manager Jared Prichard.
As director of food & beverage, Christopher Walling will be responsible for overseeing all food and beverage outlets, restaurants and banquet catering for the property. Walling is a graduate of the University of Nevada Las Vegas and is a level 1 sommelier.
Director of Revenue Management Jason Krahl comes to the Omni Amelia Island Plantation from the Omni corporate office in Irving, Texas. Serving as the central director of revenue, Krahl has worked with Omni Amelia Island for the last year as well as Omni properties in Richmond, Va.; Jacksonville, Fla.; Hilton Head, S.C.; and Washington D.C.
Beth Place brings over 16 years of experience to the role of associate director of catering & conference services for Omni Amelia Island from the Ritz-Carlton Amelia Island. Recognized as manager of the year in 2010 for the Ritz-Carlton Amelia Island, Place is an accomplished meeting planner.
Front Office Manager Jared Prichard, began his career with Omni Hotels & Resorts in 2007 at the Omni Parker House in Boston, MA before being promoted through the Leadership in Development program to Omni Chicago and Omni Mount Washington in New Hampshire.
