SkyCoast Adventures launches new website, tours

SkyCoast Adventures – Amelia Island’s helicopter tour – has launched its brand new website at www.skycoastadventures.com and is now scheduled to officially open to the general public by end of June 2012. An additional helicopter has been added to the fleet based on initial demand for tours that will depart SkyCoast’s new location at McGill Aviation, based out of the Fernandina Beach Airport.

SkyCoast brings a one-of-a-kind view of Amelia Island, Cumberland Island and Tiger Island to residents and tourists, alike. The unique aerial views offered by helicopter encompass the Atlantic Coastline of Amelia Island and Cumberland Island, the downtown historic district of Fernandina Beach, Old Town, and the magnificent salt marshes that make northeast Florida and southeast Georgia so captivating. The views of pre-Civil War Ft. Clinch, wild horses of Cumberland Island National Seashore and rustically beautiful landscape of the area are unbeatable.

SkyCoast Adventures is scheduled to open in late June, operating out of Fernandina Beach Airport at the McGill Aviation FBO. Tours will run Thursday through Sunday, 9 a.m. to sunset. A 10-15 minute tour and a 15-20 minute tour will be offered with customized tours available upon request. Pricing, tour information, and sample aerial photos can be viewed online at www.skycoastadventures.com.
