Deutsche Bank Jacksonville employees volunteer to replenish resources related to paper consumption

Deutsche Bank recently partnered with Greenscape of Jacksonville, The Florida Department of Forestry and The City of Jacksonville to help restore the native environment and create a new generation of Long Leaf Pines. Fifty-three Deutsche Bank employees volunteered to plant nearly 2,000 trees to offset their office’s total paper consumption of approximately 16 million pages since the office’s opening in July 2008.

The volunteers met at the Cecil Field pavilion and received a demonstration of the planting process as well as an informational session about Long Leaf Pine seedlings and their natural sustainability. A few hours later, 2,400 Long Leaf Pines were in the ground and ready to thrive.
