The City of Jacksonville, the Jacksonville Chamber IT Council and the Florida State College of Jacksonville are showcasing and promoting the culture of innovation and creativity, talent and expertise and the growing concentration of IT business that advance Jacksonville as a dynamic hub for technology development and employment.
Our Mission: Provide a forum for local businesses, IT decision makers, technology innovators from around the world and the skilled local talent pool to present, discuss and share advances, opportunities and solutions.
The Tech Coast Conference is designed to promote the wealth of IT, the JITC council, the high tech talent and professionals in the North Florida area by schools, organizations, businesses, and communities. This event provides the opportunity for Jacksonville to be recognized throughout the nation. With the technology talent already available in this area provides an attractive opportunity to many businesses involved in high tech and logistics wanting to expand and possibly relocate their operations here. This showcased event will increase the exposure of the city, the number of businesses, and the revenue stream provided to the city and it’s communities.

INNOVATIVE AND HEALTH CARE DELIVERY START-UP ABSTRACTS
Please submit your abstract for reviewed by the Innovative and Health Care Delivery Start-Up panelists. Panelists include stroke content experts, as well as industry, tech and start-up companies. Ideas submitted must impact stroke care either by one or more of the following methods:
1.) Practice-changing technology (smartphone app, device, sensors, artificial intelligence, or other technology) that ultimate enhances the value of stroke care (ie.,reduced costs, improved quality, improved efficiency, communication, safety, etc)
2.) Health Care Delivery re-design: these may include ‘health systems engineering’ ideas such as six-sigma product efficiency or LEAN models, improvements in stroke patient care by reducing health care costs using telemedicine or other technology.
Presentation Format: 5minute mini-presentations about ideas following by 5min Q&A by the panel.
Accepted ideas will be offered venues for product or idea development.
Submit your abstract by Monday, August 3, 2015.
