Bourré elected chairman of FHBA Local Presidents Council

Northeast Florida builder Michael Bourré, president of Bourré Construction Group, was recently elected chairman of the Florida Home Builders Association’s (FHBA) Local Presidents Council. Bourré is currently serving as the 2011 president of the Northeast Florida Builders Association (NEFBA), the state’s largest local builder association.

“I am thrilled at the opportunity to be part of the state’s dynamic, forward-thinking organization,” Bourré said. “I am passionate about the building industry and excited to contribute to FHBA.”

Bourré recently traveled to Washington, D.C., on behalf of NEFBA to speak at an Appraisal Summit hosted by the National Association of Home Builders. He addressed the need for more accurate appraisal standards and practices.

With more than 14 years of experience in the construction and homebuilding industry, Bourré is highly regarded for his construction knowledge, experience, professionalism and integrity. In 2005, he founded Bourré Construction Group, an award-winning company that specializes in residential and commercial construction.

A veteran of the United States Marine Corps, Bourré maintains an active role in his community and participates in numerous charitable activities.
