Stellar promotes 9 employees

Stellar, a construction, design, engineering and mechanical services firm, has promoted nine of its employees, including three to vice president roles.

“We’re extremely proud of these individuals,” said Mike Santarone, Stellar’s Chief Operating Officer. “Employees like these are critical to our success. We’re pleased that we can recognize their efforts and provide them opportunities for additional growth.”

The newly promoted vice presidents, and their new titles, are:

Scott Mark, Vice President, Food & Beverage Services Operations. Mark has been with Stellar for 14 years in a variety of roles, including Field Engineer, Assistant Superintendent, Assistant Project Manager, Project Manager, Senior Project Manager, Developer and Division Manager. In his new role, he is responsible for client relations, development, design, project execution and project closeout for all of Stellar’s domestic food and beverage projects.

Michael Polczynski, Vice President, Field Services. A Stellar employee since 1999, Polczynski’s prior roles have included Superintendent, General Superintendent and Director of Field Services. In his new role, he’s responsible for all field staffing, training and quality control on Stellar’s job sites. Polczynski is a LEED AP – a professional accreditation that demonstrates expertise in LEED, or Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design. LEED is the U.S. Green Building Council’s rating system for the design and construction of high-performance, sustainable buildings.

Clint Pyle, Vice President, Finance. A five-year Stellar employee, Pyle was previously Director of Finance. He now oversees payroll and all day-to-day accounting, finance and IT functions.

The newly promoted employees, and their new titles, are:

Josh Barth, Project Manager, Commercial. Barth has been with Stellar’s Commercial division for more than six years, as both a Field Engineer and Assistant Project Manager. In his new role, he controls bidding buyouts, procurement, and manages projects.

John Bowles, Senior Project Manager, Commercial. With Stellar for five years as a Project Manager, Bowles now oversees projects, working to maintain relationships with current clients and build new client partnerships.

Matt Doherty, Senior Project Manager, Food & Beverage. Doherty’s prior roles in his five years with Stellar include Assistant Project Manager and Project Manager in the Food & Beverage division.

Nathan Edwards, Project Manager, Food & Beverage. Edwards joined Stellar in 2006, working as a Field Engineer, Assistant Superintendent and Assistant Project Manager. In his new position, he is responsible for coordination, procurement, and financial management of construction projects.

Lauren Hedberg, Procurement Analyst, Refrigeration Services. Hedberg has been a Project Assistant with Stellar for nearly five years. Her new responsibilities include purchasing labor and material for refrigeration projects and managing warranty issues.

Jim Martini, Senior Automation Engineer. Martini has been an Automation Engineer with Stellar for nearly five years. In his new role, he now provides technical leadership and engineering support to technicians and other engineers and focuses on larger and more technically complex projects.
