Score Jacksonville to provide business counseling at Clay County Chamber of Commerce

The Jacksonville Chapter of SCORE announces that it will begin mentoring both start-up and ongoing small businesses each Tuesday afternoon beginning Nov. 1, 2011.

“We are proud to now provide mentoring folks in Clay County as we expand on our Jacksonville and St. Augustine locations”, said David Taylor, SCORE Jacksonville’s Chapter Chair. He added, “Our counsel is always free and we will stay with a client until the business opens or a specific issue is resolved.”

SCORE is a national volunteer organization affiliated with the Small Business Administration. Visit to see the scope of its activities. The Jacksonville Chapter has 50 members with significant experience in the real business world. They have ‘been there’ and ‘done that’ and are able to impart their first-hand experience to help entrepreneurs take their businesses to the next level.
