Wise joins THE PLAYERS Championship’s sales & marketing team

THE PLAYERS Championship has hired Alyson Wise to join its sales and marketing team. In her new role, Wise is responsible for selling hospitality packages and sponsorships to local and national businesses for the PGA TOUR’s flagship event, held each May in Ponte Vedra Beach.

“Support from the local and regional business community has grown steadily over the years as THE PLAYERS provides companies the opportunity to entertain and engage their clients in a unique way. We are confident Alyson will build upon this growth with her experience, relationships and proven success,” said Jared Rice, director of sales & marketing for THE PLAYERS.

Prior to joining THE PLAYERS, Wise was employed at Comcast Business Class as a business account executive where she was responsible for business-to-business sales. Wise also has experience as a production coordinator for Hartmann Studios in Atlanta, facilitating pre-production and on-site production for companies such as The Home Depot, Symantec, Oracle, 24 Hour Fitness, AirTran Airways and nonprofit foundations. Wise has a bachelor’s degree in marketing from Florida State University.

“I am excited to work with THE PLAYERS Championship to help expose companies to how a hospitality program can help grow their business,” said Wise. “THE PLAYERS is an important part of the Northeast Florida community, both in terms of its economic impact and charitable contributions, and I look forward to being part of the team.”
