Huffman and Wachholz join Burdette Ketchum

Burdette Ketchum has expanded its creative and account services teams with two new employees. The Jacksonville-based marketing consulting and communications firm hired Ryan Huffman as art director and Mimi Wachholz as account coordinator.

“Ryan brings a strong background as a highly creative art director who has worked with an impressive array of business-to-business and consumer-focused brands,” said Will Ketchum, Burdette Ketchum principal. “Mimi gained a wealth of experience in writing, managing tight deadlines and identifying compelling story angles in her former job as a television news producer, all vital skills for an account services position.”

As art director, Huffman will create and design advertising and marketing materials in print, television and online mediums within integrated brand campaigns. Huffman has developed campaigns and materials for a range of clients, such as Bridgestone Golf, Cessna Aircraft, U.S. Marines, U.S. Virgin Islands and WARN Industries. Huffman built his design expertise within integrated agencies in the Bend, Ore., market. He has won numerous industry awards for his work, including several Gold ADDY awards from the American Advertising Federation. Huffman is a graduate of The Creative Circus in Atlanta.

As account coordinator, Wachholz will help clients achieve their marketing objectives by implementing effective marketing communications programs and managing the day-to-day needs of her clients. Prior to joining Burdette Ketchum, Wachholz worked as a producer for WJXT Channel 4 News, where she selected news stories, wrote online content and managed social networking sites, and created graphics. Wachholz received her bachelor’s degree in communications and mass media studies at Florida State University.
