121 Financial offers discounted health services

121 Financial Credit Union is now offering upgraded health services benefits to its members through its exclusive Benefits Plus program, announced CEO William Braddock.

The Benefits Plus program, which provides a variety of discounts for numerous personal services, offers health services discounts that will mean substantial savings for its members, ranging from prescriptions to eyeglasses to corrective surgery.

121 Financial’s Benefits Plus program has partnered with WellCard Health to offer savings of up to 60% on prescriptions from major drugstore chains, including Walgreen’s, CVS, Wal-Mart, Target, Sam’s, Kmart and others.

They have also partnered with Outlook Vision to offer savings up to 50% off the price of eyeglasses, contact lenses, sunglasses and even corrective surgery, involving Lasik and RPK. Major chains participating include Sears, JC Penney, Target, Lens-Crafters and Wal-Mart.

Along with these latest upgrades, the Benefits Plus program offers other health related discounts for hearing care and products, group dental and pet health insurance.

“Medical care is a real concern today with the stress on families’ budgets,” Braddock explained. “So we were delighted when our Benefits Plus package expanded to provide members with major savings on their basic health services needs.”

The program also offers various savings in the form of identity theft protection, movie tickets, travel discounts, emergency roadside service and grocery and restaurant coupons.
