Burdette Ketchum expands teams

Burdette Ketchum has hired Sharon Obeso as art director and Rachael Callahan as interactive designer. In addition, the firm promoted Catherine Williams from traffic manager to account coordinator.

As art director, Obeso designs and directs the development and production of creative concepts for the firm’s clients. She has 11 years of experience in creative design through her work at advertising agencies in Hawaii, Texas and Florida. Obeso has developed marketing materials for global brands Dell, Verizon and the American Heart Association, and won two American Advertising Federation ADDY awards and an AIGA award for outstanding design and direction. She received a bachelor’s degree in graphic design at the University of North Florida and completed her graduate studies in graphic design at the Portfolio Center in Atlanta.

As interactive designer, Callahan is responsible for designing web assets that are integrated with clients’ overall branding and message. Prior to joining Burdette Ketchum, Callahan spent a year teaching English in South Korea. She built her interactive design expertise as a web designer at a Florida-based advertising agency. Callahan received a bachelor’s degree in graphic design at the University of Florida.

Williams’ three years as Burdette Ketchum’s traffic manager gave her experience managing the firm’s creative assignments and deadlines. In her new role as account coordinator, she works with senior team members and clients to manage a variety of client initiatives. She is a graduate of the University of Florida, where she earned a bachelor’s degree in advertising.
