FreshMinistries appoints Neal

The Rev. Dr. Robert V. Lee III, chairman and CEO of FreshMinistries (www.freshministries.org), a Jacksonville-based multi-faith humanitarian organization, announced the appointment of Mr. Donell Neal as director of the East Jacksonville Neighborhood Resource Center, a FreshMinistries initiative serving residents in core-city Jacksonville.

Neal will assume full responsibility of the day-to-day operation of the Resource Center located at 616 A. Philip Randolph Boulevard. The “direct connect” service center provides neighbors in East Jacksonville with the information and guidance they need to connect with civic and social organizations that meet their specific, immediate needs; provides the community with a computer lab for job searches, resume building, homework research, and Internet access to apply online for food stamps and other online assistance applications; serves as a community center for neighborhood gatherings; and, houses other community service organizations and programs such as Children’s Champion and Network for Strengthening Families.
