Volunteer for July 5th Beaches Cleanup

The City of Jacksonville, Keep Jacksonville Beautiful and the Beaches Sea Turtle Patrol are asking for volunteers to remove litter and debris along the shoreline and enhance the beauty and safety of Jacksonville’s beaches for the annual July 5th Beaches Cleanup on Tuesday, July 5, from 7 a.m. to  9 a.m.

Advance registration is not required for the event. Volunteer sign-in, litter collection bags, and gloves will be distributed to volunteers at Atlantic Boulevard at the ocean and at Beach Boulevard at the ocean.

Participants must be at least 18 years old or accompanied by an adult, and wear sturdy footwear and sun protection and bring their own drinking water. The cleanups will only be cancelled in the event of inclement weather.
