Ponte Vedra selected for CSPA conference

Consumer Specialty Products Association’s (CSPA) Cleaning Products Division will host its New Horizons 2011 conference at the Ponte Vedra Inn & Club in Ponte Vedra Beach, Fla. on October 16-19, 2011. The meeting, which is open to both CSPA members and nonmembers, will be used as an opportunity for professionals in the cleaning products industry to learn about the latest technologies and discuss the challenges of emerging issues.

“The New Horizons conference has become one of the premier conferences for those in the cleaning products industry,” said Chris Cathcart, CSPA President and CEO. “Not only has its popularity grown over the years as a result of the educational benefits experienced by attendees, it also has become valuable generator of new ideas.”

The sessions for the New Horizon 2011 conference include: Retailers’ Goals for Consumer Products; Emerging Packaging Trends; What’s New in Industry and Academia; Emerging Global Marketing Trends; and The Future of Sustainable Cleaning.

The keynote speaker for New Horizons 2011 will be Tom Carter, vice president of sales and strategic initiatives for The Wercs, Ltd. The Wercs, Ltd. helps to advance environment, health and safety by providing global organizations with innovative hazard communication and material compliance solutions.

CSPA has hosted the triennial event for more than 20 years. This year, New Horizons serves as the first of two major CSPA meetings that will take place in Florida. Later this year, the association will host its Annual Meeting in Fort Lauderdale.
