Sherrer receives Business Leader Award

Prudential Network Realty Founder, President and CEO Linda H. Sherrer has been named a recipient of the Prime F. Osborn, III Distinguished Business Leader Award from the University of North Florida (UNF) Coggin College of Business.  The award recognizes continuing career achievements and leadership in the Jacksonville community.

“Linda is truly a Renaissance woman, balancing a successful career and family with a strong commitment to community service,” said Insteel Industries Director of International Operations Javier Salinas, a member of the Business Advisory Council of the UNF Coggin College of Business who nominated Sherrer for the award.  “Prudential Network Realty is one of the most dynamic and respected real estate firms in Northeast Florida.  Linda is held in high esteem by all segments of the industry and highly regarded for her leadership in community and civic activities.  She is very deserving of this honor and recognition.”

Sherrer has guided the company from its inception in 1988.  She has more than 30 years of experience in real estate and was named Prudential RealEstate Affiliates’ National Broker of the Year in 1998.  Prior to founding Prudential Network Realty, Sherrer served as Commodore at Epping Forest Yacht Club.

Her community and civic activities include serving as a gubernatorial appointee to the Jacksonville International Airport Board of Directors, on the board of directors of the Florida Association of Realtors and IM Sulzbacher Center, and as past president of the Northeast Florida Association of Realtors.  Sherrer also served on the Jacksonville Branch of the Federal Reserve Bank of Atlanta Board of Directors for six years, including as chairman.
