Moran Environmental Recovery acquires Jacksonville Pollution Control

Moran Environmental Recovery, LLC (MER) has acquired Jacksonville Pollution Control, Inc.(JPC), an established oil spill removal organization in Northeast Florida.

In addition to providing oil spill removal, JPC provides routine industrial cleaning and response services.

“We are excited to have Jacksonville Pollution Control become part of the MER family of companies. JPC is an excellent fit with our nationally-recognized oil spill response capabilities, and we look forward to continuing the legacy built by Mr. Edenfield and his dedicated employees,” commended Brian House, president and CEO of MER.

JPC will operate as a subsidiary to MER and will continue to service clients and contracts under its existing Jacksonville Pollution Control brand. Bob Steffans, a 20-year veteran of JPC, has been appointed general manager and will continue  oversee daily operations.
