Award event to highlight Small Business Week

The U.S. Small Business Administration will present its coveted Small Business Week awards spotlighting the outstanding contributions of North Florida

business leaders and champions at the district level at the 19th Annual Small Business Week Celebration May 25, 2011, from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 pm at the University of North Florida University Center. The U.S. SBA will also recognize North Florida’s top SBA Lenders for significant participation in the 7(a) and 504 Loan programs for fiscal year 2010.

Keynote speaker at the luncheon will be Kelly McDonald, a nationally recognized marketing expert, who  specializes in multicultural and diversity marketing. She works with clients such as Toyota, Harley-Davidson, Sherwin-Williams, State Farm and Miller/Coors. McGonald is the author of How to Market to People Not Like You and has been featured on CNBC, in Business Week, on Sirius/XM Radio and on CNNMoney.com.  Her company, McDonald Marketing, has twice been named one of the top advertising agencies in the U.S. by Advertising Age magazine.
