PWC collects canned goods for food bank

The Professional Women’s Council of the Jacksonville Regional Chamber of Commerce is collecting nonperishable items to build up the Arlington Food Bank.

According to Kirsten Schneider, chairperson of the Community Involvement Committee, the food bank needs canned meats, mixed vegetables, coffee, pork and beans, sugar, flour, dry beans, muffin mixes, canned potatoes, laundry and dishwashing detergent, soap, and toilet paper.

Individuals attending the April 20, May 4 and May 18 luncheon meetings at Maggiono’s at St. John’s Town Center are asked to bring a donation.
