PWC logo contest closes Tuesday

The Professional Women’s Council (PWC) of the Jacksonville Regional Chamber of Commerce is holding a logo contest for its members to brand its new professional development school, the PWC University. Deadline for entry is Tuesday, Apr. 19.

PWC University was a 2011 initiative, according to PWC board member Deborah Eveson. Tentatively educational events will be held every three months, beginning with the “Social Media Workshop” May 11, from 9 a.m. to noon, at Brighton Bay, 10061 Sweetwater Parkway.

The winning logo entry will be used to depict the PWC University and will be used on flyers, Facebook, LinkedIn, and other promotional media for PWC University. Winners of the top three logos will receive a gift basket, a free ticket to PWC University Social Media Workshop on May 11, and a free PWC luncheon at an upcoming meeting. The winner will also receive credit on all printed materials for one year.
