Local artist designs Jazz Fest poster

The work of a local artist has been selected to be the 2011 Jazz Fest poster, scheduled for May 26-29. This year’s painting, “Drop’n the Groove,” wascreated by Pamela Miller. Her submission was selected over more than 140 entries.

The poster is available for purchase for $40 (signed and numbered) or $25 for an unsigned copy.  After the festival, the cost will be $60 (signed and numbered) or $45 unsigned.  A limited number of signed posters are available. Jacksonville Jazz Festival posters may be purchased online at jaxjazzfest.com or at the City of Jacksonville Office of Special Events at 117 W. Duval Street, suite 280. During the festival, posters will also be sold at the official Jacksonville Jazz Festival Merchandise Store.
