Florida Chamber Foundation names new trustee

The Florida Chamber Foundation has named J. Emmett Reed, CAE, Executive Director of Florida Health Care Association, to its Board of Trustees. The Florida Chamber Foundation’s Board of Trustees provide oversight in the development of strategic recommendations to position Florida for a more diverse and sustainable economic future.

“Emmet Reed’s expertise in leading associations on a more successful path will enhance an already dynamic Board of Trustees committed to Florida’s new economy.” said Dale A. Brill, Ph.D., president of Florida Chamber Foundation.

Reed’s role will be to serve as an advisor and consultant for the Florida Chamber Foundation. In particular, trustees have a key role in developing the year 2030 targets for Florida’s six key economic pillars: 1) Talent Supply and Education, 2) Innovation and Economic Development, 3) Infrastructure and Growth Leadership, 4) Business Climate and Competitiveness, 5) Civic and Governance Systems, and 6) Quality of Life and Quality Places.
