Florida Chamber Foundation names new board member

The Florida Chamber Foundation has added Tammy Bracewell, president and CEO of the Greater Brandon Chamber of Commerce, to its board of trustees.

The Florida Chamber Foundation’s board of trustees is comprised of business and community leaders who drive the Foundation’s agenda for influencing the economic future of Florida. Foundation Trustees strategize and develop recommendations to move Florida forward and develop a clear vision for the year 2030.

“The Foundation welcomes the addition of Tammy Bracewell to its Board of Trustees,” said Dr. Dale A. Brill, president, Florida Chamber Foundation. “Her long-standing career at a local Chamber will be instrumental in the development of the Foundation’s Six Pillars Communities, giving a voice to those leaders at the local planning level.”

Bracewell’s role will be to serve as an advisor and consultant for the Florida Chamber Foundation. She will have input into the research direction and analysis of findings for all of the projects of the Foundation. In particular, Trustees have a key role in developing the year 2030 targets for Florida’s six key economic pillars: 1) Talent Supply and Education, 2) Innovation and Economic Development, 3) Infrastructure and Growth Leadership, 4) Business Climate and Competitiveness, 5) Civic and Governance Systems, and 6) Quality of Life and Quality Places.
