New wine distributor expands operations

A new wine distributor headquartered in Jacksonville and focused on serving small-production brands is expanding its operations to Orlando and Tampa in March.

Vingevity (www.vingevity.com) opened its 7,500 square foot temperature controlled warehouse on November 1, 2010 to begin the distribution of many unique small production brands throughout Florida.  Expansion is set to begin March 1. “We are excited about our expansion into the Central Florida markets, and look forward to our continued growth opportunities here in Jacksonville.  Our quick success is due to our supply chain management philosophy, our quality control efforts and our very knowledgeable and dedicated staff.” said Fraser Burns, chairman of Vingevity.

Vingevity’s distribution differs from that of larger companies. Chad Munsey, Vingevity’s president said, “Our focus is on the distribution of quality products while building long term relationships with our wineries, importers, and restaurant partners. Our company is focused on helping the family owned winery expand and prosper in the ever changing distribution environment.”  The Vingevity wine portfolio specializes in unique, hand crafted, small production wines that offer tremendous quality and unsurpassed flavor at a wide range of price points.

The company is located at 7658 Phillips Highway, Suite 500.
