a nonprofit, nonpartisan organization headquartered in Jacksonville that supports and assists injured service members.

Bourré Construction Group is renovating the 25,800-square-foot Class-A office space with a new staircase, flooring, walls, ceiling, electrical and plumbing.  Construction is underway and completion of the project is anticipated in February.

“The Wounded Warrior Project provides critical services to our communities and to the men and women who have made great sacrifices for our freedom.  It is an honor to partner with them on this project,” said President Michael Bourré, who served in the United States Marine Corps for eight years prior to working in the building and construction industry.

Founded in 2003, WWP aims to foster the most successful, well-adjusted generation of wounded warriors in the nation’s history.  The organization’s headquarters is located at 7020 A.C. Skinner Parkway, Jacksonville.  WWP has additional program offices located in New York City, San Antonio and Washington D.C.
