Business.gov to be part of SBA.gov

Business.gov, a website that provides helpful tips and information to small business owners, will become part of the new SBA Community on www.SBA.gov. The site will build upon the success of the Business.gov Community and continue to provide a forum for small business owners to discuss, share, and get insight from each other and from industry and government experts. The new website, originally planned to launch Jan. 25, has been delayed for several days.

Changes include the following:

• On February 7th, the Business.gov website will no longer be available.  However, the tools and resources from the site will still be available at their new home on SBA.gov

• Effective Jan. 27, e-mail updates from Business.gov will end. Communication will be renewed once the new site is running. E-mails will be from SBA.gov.

• Google Gadget and web services update. The Business.gov team will be retiring all of its Google Gadgets.  However, the new SBA.gov site will host very similar Gadgets
