Aerostar earns ‘Companies to Watch’ award

Aerostar Environmental Services, Inc. has earned a 2011 Florida Companies to Watch award, an honor presented by GrowFL, the Florida Economic Gardening Institute at the University of Central Florida and ACG Florida, in association with the Edward Lowe Foundation. Awardees are selected for demonstrating the intent and capacity to grow based on employee or sales growth, exceptional entrepreneurial leadership, sustainable competitive advantage or other notable strengths.

Florida Companies to Watch is an awards program that celebrates 50 privately held second-stage companies headquartered in the state. To be eligible, applicants must employ between 6 and 99 full-time equivalent employees and have between $750,000 and $50 million in annual revenue or working capital in place.

Aerostar (www.aerostar.net) is a full-service environmental engineering and consulting firm established in November of 1992 that provides a broad range of services to commercial, industrial, and governmental agencies at the local, state, and federal levels. Its headquarters are in Jacksonville, and it has 11 additional offices located throughout the Southeast.
