Advanced Disposal selects corporate Employee of the Year

Morris Logan

Advanced Disposal Services, Inc. has named Jacksonville-area employee, Morris Logan, as its 2010 Corporate Employee of the Year. Logan is shop supervisor at the company’s St. Johns County location and has been with Advanced Disposal since 2004.

Logan oversees Advanced Disposal’s residential and commercial maintenance operations in St. Johns County. He leads a team of two mechanics and ensures they understand the importance of the work they perform and how it directly impacts the safety of Advanced Disposal’s drivers, helpers, customers and the general public.

“Morris takes special pride in everything he does and treats Advanced Disposal equipment as if it were his own,” said Chris Argon, maintenance manager for the company’s St. Johns County facility. “Every day he has a smile on his face and is looking for the next challenge. Because of him, I believe Advanced Disposal is a better company and a safer one.”

Morris will receive a $500 gift card and will be formally recognized at next year’s Advanced Disposal Waste Expo District and General Managers Meeting. He and his wife, Daisy, will receive an all expense paid trip to attend Waste Expo taking place in Dallas, Texas on May 9-11.
