Government contracting topic of January workshop

Learning how to navigate the government contracting process will be the topic of a workshop presented by the Procurement Technical Assistance Center (PTAC), along with the Jacksonville Small and Emerging Business (JSEB) program and V.T. Griffin. PTAC operates out of the University of North Florida’s Small Business Development Center (SBDC).

Attendees will learn about potential sources for bonding, subcontracting opportunities and the key to being a successful small business. 

The forum includes:

•           Networking Opportunities

•           Bonding and Bonding Assistance Programs

•           Subcontracting Development and Preparation from JaxPort

•           An Entrepreneurial Success Panel

The workshop will be Jan. 20, from 12:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. Cost is $25. It will be conducted at the Cecil Commerce Center Conference Center, 13561 Lake Newman St.
