FACP appoints new board

The Florida Association of Chamber Professionals (FACP) installed its 2010-2011 Board of Directors at the 90th Annual Leadership Conference held recently in Orlando. The Board of Directors is the governing body responsible for overseeing the operations of FACP.

Shane Moody, president & CEO of the Destin Area Chamber of Commerce, will replace Troy McLellan, president & CEO of the Greater Boca Raton Chamber of Commerce, as the chair of FACP. As chair, Moody will lead the board and oversee their direction in the coming year.

The 2010-2011 Florida Association of Chamber Professionals Board is comprised of the following members:

  • Chair: Shane Moody, Destin Area Chamber
  • Chair-elect: Tammy Bracewell, Greater Brandon Chamber
  • Treasurer: Jaye Baillie,  Ocala-Marion County Chamber
  • Past-chair: Troy McLellan, Greater Boca Raton Chamber

The following vice chairs have been appointed for the 2010-2011 term:

  • NW Region – Ted Corcoran, Greater Fort Walton Beach Chamber
  • NE Region – Greg Voss, Clay County Chamber
  • Central Region – Stina D’Uva, West Orange Chamber
  • West Central – Laura Simpson, Greater Brandon Chamber
  • SE Region – Glenn Jergensen, Greater Boynton Beach Chamber
  • SW Region – Julie Mathis, Charlotte County Chamber

In addition, five individuals have been appointed for a one-year term, including: 

  • Ted Corcoran, Greater Fort Walton Beach
  • Anna Valent, Jacksonville Regional Chamber
  • Dana Jones, Putnam County Chamber
  • Bob Rohrlack, Greater Tampa Chamber
  • Glenn Jergensen, Greater Boynton Beach Chamber

Board nominees for the 2010-2011 include John Ashworth, Orlando, Inc.; Stina D’Uva, West Orange Chamber; Ted Corcoran, Greater Fort Walton Beach Chamber; Dana Jones, Putnam County Chamber; Art Kimbrough, Jackson County Chamber; Mike Malone, Greater Delray Beach Chamber; Christine Michaels, Melbourne Regional Chamber of East Central Florida, Inc.; Tom Morrissette, Largo/Mid Pinellas Chamber; Laura Simpson, Greater Brandon Chamber; Andre Varona, Hispanic Chamber of Palm Beach County and Greg Voss, Clay County Chamber
