NEFBA hosts ‘Beast Feast’ for new officials

The Northeast Florida Builders Association (NEFBA) will host its 2010 Beast Feast, as a way to thank all elected officials for their service to the community and introduce them to the Northeast Florida building community. The event will be from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Nov. 11 at the NEFBA offices located at 103 Century 21 Drive. It is open to NFBA members and their invited guests.

“This is an extraordinary opportunity for members of the builder community to meet local officials and thank them for their invaluable service to the Northeast Florida community,” said Andy Chambers, president of NEFBA. “We want to provide a relaxed and comfortable environment to welcome our newest community leaders and let them know the builder community is an important and thriving industry in the local economy.”

The event provides an opportunity for builder members to have one-on-one exposure with the political community and share their thoughts and vision regarding industry issues in the local marketplace. The festivities will include a live band, food, and drinks.

Event sponsors include PBS&J an Atkins company, Republic Services, Inc. and Southland Waste Systems (SWS).
