Oct. 27 set for WBC’s Stepping Stones Summit II

The Jacksonville Women’s Business Center (JWBC), a program of the Jacksonville Chamber Foundation, and the Business Women of Color Initiative are hosting Stepping Stones Summit II, a complimentary workshop designed to help identify, research, and resolve issues that are hindering women of color from participating in mentoring and training programs that could help grow their business.  The program will be Oct. 27 at the Beaver Street Enterprise Center.

“We have seen very few business women of color enrolling in our programs,” said Pat Blanchard, director of the Jacksonville Women’s Business Center.  “Our programs and services are working for thousands of women in Northeast Florida and we want everyone who can benefit from involvement to feel comfortable and welcome.”

The goal of Stepping Stones Summit II is to connect aspiring and accomplished women business owners.  The program is free and open to the public but seating is limited and an RSVP is required.  Register by visiting the events calendar at or contact for more information.
